Key Responsibilities:The incumbent shall be part of corporate procurement team based at head office and shall work closely with plant team, finance, operations, logistics and taxation teams.Candidate is expected to have knowledge on all mechanical, electrical, utilities, spares and consumables which shall be part of daily routine industrial purchases.Should handle routine revenue spares & consumables and capex requirements like pumps, blowers, compressors, HVAC, Boiler, Boiler revamping, packages like complete equipment's, plants, set up etc, across PAN India locations.Knowledge of costing to under fabrication contracts and machining items. Knowledge on refurbishment orders and consignment contracts.Understanding of cost and negotiations of inbound logistics of procured materials arrangement till units.Exposure to heavy machinery procurement, heavy fabrication service works similar to Steel / Sugar / Distillery / Oil & Gas industry is a must.Perform technical assessments and develop validation strategies of requirements. Understanding the URF (User Requirement Form) and accordingly arranging the vendors and quotations.Strategic sourcing, supplier discovery, techno-commercial evaluationsKnowledge of Bottom-up Costing & Total Cost of Ownership for green field and brown field projects.Cater negotiations basis value of the requirements under the guidance of procurement headPlan for auctions for the high value materials & packagesWork closely with stake holders like plant engineering team, stores & plant purchase teamEnsure Risk management, On Time Delivery, meet Project timelinesSupplier Life Cycle Management – Supplier visits, evaluation, on boarding, monitoring etc.Prepare MIS, dashboards of the procurement metricsPersonality:Strong negotiation skills, empathicMindfulness in the work executionCuriosity to learn constantly and strong ethical basesExcellent analytical and strategic thinking abilityGood organizational and people management skills Software Exposure:Microsoft Excel, Power point, SAP MM, SAP Ariba, S4 HANA.
