Details on your work arrangement (including on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.How You’ll Succeed (responsibilities):Testing Coordination & ExecutionDefect & Compliance ManagementTechnical LeadershipCROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPSJOB DIMENSIONS:Experience: 3+ years of experienceDevelop, publish, and execute test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, automation scripts, virtualization, status reports, defect and exit reports.Identify and obtain required test data and test environments.Develop, publish, and execute testing estimates and manage financials related to testing activities.Track and report QA/QE metrics and KPIs such as velocity and defect slippage.Manage defects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.Identify, manage, and implement remediation for any noncompliance items and deviations.Ensure adherence to QA/QE standards and support the implementation of new standards.Recognize and identify areas for process, policy, or tool improvement.Provide input, feedback, and challenge to technical designs and assess impacts to testing.Identify and implement automation, AI, or other emerging solutions to expedite testing and improve quality.Lead the adoption of automation frameworks and tools.Collaborates with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to coordinate testing activities and ensure alignment with project objectives.Works closely with development teams to provide feedback on technical designs and assess testing impacts.Interacts with external vendors and tool providers to evaluate and integrate testing solutions.Partners with other QA/QE professionals across the organization to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.As an employee of CIBC, the incumbent must comply with all applicable CIBC and Line of Business policies, standards, guidelines, and controls.As a key contributor to the business unit, this job has the authority to recommend changes to business processes in order to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.Responsible for the delivery of testing services for assigned projects/initiatives.Provides technical and process leadership to ensure quality standards are met.Supports achievement of business unit goals through effective quality engineering and testing practices.Who You Are (skills/qualifications):Retail banking, web-based testing, API testing, Database Testing, Automation Testing.Must Have Skills:3+ years of experience in QA/QE, 1–3 years of experience in development.Proficiency with automation frameworks and tools (Soap UI, Parasoft, Postman or any similar).Experience in programming languages for automation (Python, Java, JavaScript).Ability to write and execute automation test cases, build object repositories, and develop custom functions.Familiarity with web technologies (API, web services).Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.Experience with version control and Agile/QA tools (eg, GIT, Jira, Confluence).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Quality management and assurance expertise.Good to have Skills:VirtualizationGitHub CoPilot or other Gen AI-based toolsParasoft and virtualization toolsUnixWhat CIBC India Offers:At CIBC India, your goals are a priority.
