Position: Dealer- Fixed IncomeLocation: Mumbai – Lower ParelDepartment: InvestmentsReporting to: Fund ManagerContext & RoleThe job holder will be responsible for supporting the Investment Team and Fund Managers with debt, macroeconomic, and other research.Desired Qualifications and ExperienceMBA from a reputed institute/university or CA/ CFAA minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a debt dealer, preferably with a life insurance, mutual fund, or debt brokerage.Key ResponsibilitiesDeal execution and recommending ideasMonitoring investment limits as per internal/external normsBuilding good networks with market participantsKnowledge of corporate issuances and RBI auctionsGenerating reports for the review of the FM/CIOResearch ResponsibilitiesAnalysis of Portfolio LiquidityProviding recommendations based on analysis and movements in spreads across asset classesAnalysing benchmark performance related to asset classes such as G-Secs and corporate bonds, including high and low-yielding bondsConducting competitor portfolio analysis similar to benchmark analysisRegularly updating on macroeconomic developments domestically and globallyTracking the views of leading economists and institutions on macroeconomic parametersPerformance MeasuresIdentifying market mispricing opportunities through researchMonitoring the performance of recommended ideas over timeDemonstrating the ability to analyse and present a comprehensive view of marketsKnowledge and skills requiredKeen analytical skills to evaluate investment ideasSound knowledge of the fixed income markets, concepts, and economic theoryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComprehensive knowledge of Reuters/Bloomberg, Advanced Excel/PowerPoint
