We focus on outcomes, not just outputs, and strive for excellence every day.If you're driven by bold ideas and want to make a real impact, BIAL is the place to be.JOB PURPOSE: The Technical Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation, maintenance, and execution of projects carried out by BIAL and partner teams. This role includes leading the successful delivery of digital and IT projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Key responsibilities involve preparing RFP requirements, developing reference and target architectures, validating designs, and ensuring that all implementations adhere to best practices and security standards. The Technical Manager will collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders and external agencies to ensure alignment with business objectives, monitor project progress, and effectively communicate updates to the leadership team.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Major ActivitiesEnd-to-End Project Management- Manage and oversee the complete lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, design, execution, and maintenance.-Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet technical and business requirements.- Provide regular updates to the leadership team on project status, issues, and risk mitigation planRFP Preparation and support procurement - Develop comprehensive RFP requirements - Evaluate vendor technical proposals.- Contribute to agreements and contracts.Architecture Development and Validation- Should be able to prepare target architecture or validate architecture proposed by the implementation team.-Collaborate with technical teams to review and validate solution architecture.Application Development & Delivery - Oversee the development and delivery of digital projects.-Ensure applications meet user experience, performance, and quality standards.-Monitor and refine solutions to drive continuous improvement and scalability.- Manage relationships with external vendors executing AI and digital initiatives.Quality Assurance & Performance Monitoring:- Monitor and evaluate the quality of solutions delivered by vendors to ensure they meet the specified requirements.-Conduct regular performance reviews, analyzing results and implementing improvements or adjustments as necessary.Monitoring IT Infrastructure & Support-Oversee the infrastructure that supports applications, including cloud, on-premises systems, and storage.- Ensure the smooth functioning of IT support services for AI and digital platforms.Ensure BIAL standards, best Practices & Security Standards Compliance-Ensure all project implementations adhere to best practices, security, privacy and regulatory standards - Work closely with security teams to ensure data protection, compliance Security controls and monitoring - Implement and monitor risk management protocols throughout the project lifecycle.Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.- Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.DIMENSIONS: Financial (Eg: Budgets, project costs, capex etc.,)Renewal of AMCs and LicensesCAPEX & OPEX BudgetingPlanning and Project ExecutionNon-Financial (Eg: No. of direct/ indirect reports, headcount in projects, no. of clients handled etc.,)NAJOB SPECIFICATION:5.1. Education qualification and certifications M.C.A. / B.E. / B. Tech Degree in IT with relevant experience.5.2. Years of Experience 10+ years of total experience Experience in software development, cloud platforms, DevOps, and IT infrastructure.Experience with proof-of-concept development, implementation, and agile methodologiesExperience in managing third-party vendors, technology partners, and internal teams to ensure successful technology solution delivery.5.3. Computer skills Programming & Scripting: experience in any current leading programming language and scripting Cloud Platforms & Data Tools: Experience with AWS, Azure, Working knowledge of web technologies and enterprise application architecturesGood understanding of emerging Technologies: Example: AI technologies, IoT, AR/VR , Quantum ComputingExperience with databases, APIs, and system integrationsGood understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, cloud platforms, and infrastructure securityCybersecurity: Knowledge in Application security, Data security, Infrastructure & Network Security, Identity & Access Management, 5.4.
