Job Title: Credit ControllerReports to: Credit Supervisor, APACDepartment: Finance – Treasury & InsuranceLocation: Mumbai, IndiaJob PurposeTo support the business in managing its credit exposure & overdue% by timely collecting trade debts for the APAC Region.Principal Accountabilities: The position is part of APAC Regional Credit Management team and is responsible for:Managing the regional accounts receivable portfolio in adherence to the credit policy.Responsible for compliance of credit policy and meet KPIs according to goals.Check and release sales orders on credit hold on daily basis in compliance with payment terms and credit limits in SAP.Responsible for credit risk assessment for new / existing customers regularly.Constant communication with business regarding specific overdue cases and credit risks.Responsible for daily follow-up with customers & sales teams for overdue collection to accomplish the monthly overdue targets.Special Features: Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.Critical thinking and good credit analysis skills.Demonstrate effective time management and negotiating skills.Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and defend credit recommendations.Knowledge, Experience and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting, MBA preferred.At least 7-8 years’ relevant experience in the credit function, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing organization.Ability to perform financial statement analysis and review credit limits.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hands on SAP knowledge preferred.Must be self-motivated and goal driven.
