Dear Applicants,One of our well know Infrastructure company is hiring for Manager/Sr.Manager - Civil (Solar projects) Please find the below detailsJob Title: Manager / Sr. Manager – Civil (Solar Projects)Department: Project Management – SolarLocation: Khavda, Gujarat (Site-based)Employment Type: On-roll, Full TimeRole PurposeThe Manager / Sr. Manager – Civil is responsible for leading the overall civil execution of large ground-mounted solar power projects. This includes planning, site execution, quality, safety, resource planning, cost control, and coordination with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely and quality project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute all civil works for solar power plants, including grading, excavation, foundations, roads, stormwater drainage, fencing, cable trenches, and buildings.Lead and manage site civil teams (engineers, supervisors, contractors), ensuring safe and efficient execution of civil construction activities.Monitor daily/weekly progress, quality, and safety at site; identify deviations and implement corrective actions to meet schedule and quality targets.Ensure all civil works are executed as per approved drawings, BOQ, technical standards, and client specifications.Coordinate closely with electrical, mechanical, and project management teams for seamless integration of civil works with other project disciplines.Review and approve contractor measurement sheets, RA bills, and site reports; ensure proper documentation and certification.Oversee procurement follow-ups and site availability of civil construction materials, ensuring specified quality and timely delivery.Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures for civil works, including inspections, tests, and compliance with codes/standards.Drive adherence to HSE requirements at site; ensure safety audits, toolbox talks, and corrective actions are implemented.Support tendering, estimation, and technical proposals by providing execution inputs, quantities, and civil methodology as required.Handle technical issues, risk mitigation, and resolution of site challenges in coordination with design and project management teams.Prepare and present regular progress reports, MIS, and escalations to management and key stakeholders.QualificationsB.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma in Civil may be considered for strong profiles).15–22 years of experience in civil execution of large EPC / infrastructure / solar power projects.Strong exposure to ground-mounted solar projects, including site development, MMS foundations, PSS/ICR/MCR buildings, internal roads, drainage, and fencing.Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management skills with experience handling multi-location or multi-MW projects.Excellent knowledge of civil construction standards, codes, and best practices.Hands-on experience in project scheduling, BOQ, billing, budgeting, and cash flow monitoring.Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and familiarity with project management tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred).Good understanding of QA/QC, safety practices, audits, and documentation in civil construction.Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.Personal AttributesMature, dependable, and process-oriented leader with a strong sense of ownership.Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and handle remote/harsh site conditions.Willingness to travel and stay at project sites as required.
