About/ Summary (of Centre or Project): The Motilal Oswal Centre for Capital Markets (MOCCM) has been established to lead research in capital markets in addition to offering degree and certificate programmes in financial markets. The Centre aims to advance knowledge, innovation, and leadership for the sustainable growth of financial markets.Job PurposeWe are looking for an Academic Projects Manager to support the operational lifecycle of our educational and research programs.This is a role for a /"builder/" and an /"administrator./" You will be the bridge between our faculty (who provide the knowledge) and the learners (who consume it).Your job is to ensure that our academic programs are built on time, delivered flawlessly, and managed with academic precision.You will also ensure that our research projects are well supported with the right intervention and liaison.Key Responsibilities1. Course production & build-out:Project management: Project manage the production schedule for new certificate programs. You will manage the timeline from the initial curriculum draft to the final /"Go-Live/", and collaborate with internal (e.g. Education Outreach) and external (e.g. learning partners) stakeholders.Content coordination: Work closely with IIT B faculty, external faculty and industry experts to collate their inputs (slides, readings, assessments). Your goal is to ensure all academic assets are received, reviewed, and digitized on schedule.Asset quality control: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure lecture recordings and digital materials meet the Centre’s high quality standards before they are uploaded.2. Program operations & delivery:Program administration: Serve as the primary administrator for the course content and delivery (online LMS or offline sessions). You are responsible for uploading content, managing user access, and scheduling assessments.Cohort management: Manage the operational cadence of live cohorts. Ensure release schedules for modules are met and coordinate live interaction sessions between faculty and students.Certification process: Manage the grading workflow and issuance of certificates, ensuring strict adherence to the Centre’s evaluation criteria.3. Academic & research administration:Institutional support: Provide administrative support for the Centre’s long-term academic tracks (Undergrad/Masters/PhD), including class and exam scheduling and academic record-keeping.Grant & compliance reporting: Assist the Program Director in maintaining documentation for research grants, preparing utilization reports, and ensuring file compliance with Institute norms.Desired ProfileQualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree in Science, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Engineering. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in “academic program operations”, academic administration, and/or EdTech delivery./"Process/" mindset: You are systematic and detail-oriented. You prefer workflows, checklists, and structured timelines over ambiguity.Stakeholder management: You have the maturity to coordinate with senior professors and corporate leaders (and other internal and external stakeholders) to get inputs on time, while maintaining professional diplomacy.Tech literacy: Proficiency in learning content management, LMS platforms (backend management), Excel (for data/grading), and collaboration tools.Communication: Excellent spoken and written English, and report writing.Disclaimer: The position is contractual for a period of 1 year but renewable as per Institute’s guidelines and tenable only for the duration of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
