OVERVIEW:KM Client Support resource with 3 to 6 years of exeperienceWork with the team in successfully building, organising, coordinating and managing various KM client facing products and programmes.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Chief Knowledge and Learning Officer and senior team members in developing client facing and internal products in a range of traditional, graphic and audio-visual formats.Ideate new products and assist team with concept papers and proposals.Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors and assist team in vendor management, invoices management, finance, etc.Undertake market and sector research, both proactively and in response to incoming briefs from internal stakeholders, and for various knowledge focused products overseen by the KM team.Identify challenges faced within the team and review feedback received, to suggest process improvements and decrease response time on deliverables.Effectively delegate work to and mentor junior members, provide constructive and timely feedback and supervise their progress.Build and manage relationships within the team and firm, gain support for and influence key internal stakeholders in their approach to knowledge management projects.Collaborate within team/Partners and other stakeholders in the Firm to identify important topics across practices and research on practical issues to develop high quality knowledge products.Harmonise and motivate junior team members with respect to knowledge management projects.Support research and knowledge support activities of any team or function within the firm, and proactively ideate on removing procedural complexities for lawyers participating in KM initiatives.Assist team in the preparation of an annual KM budget.EDUCATION LEVEL- LL.B. degree from a recognised educational institution (compulsory). EXPERIENCE- 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience in law firm, in-house or Big4. SPECIFIC SKILLS- -Research and Analytical Skills: Ability to track, identify, study and analyse key legal developments, issues and legislations and new points of law across practices. - Drafting Skills: Proficient language skills to be able to draft, update, edit and manage internal and external documents. Keen eye for detail.Communication Skills: (a) Ability to communicate effectively to ensure that material circulated for external and internal use is of highest quality. (b) Ability to effectively communicate verbally with Partners and at internal forums to understand and determine requirements, pitch KM team’s initiatives, discuss material researched and data collected, and translate them into different KM products (whether in written/audio/video format). (c) Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with vendors and stakeholders, both internal and external. -Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point. Comfort with using Excel formulae and different analytical tools.Legal Tech and AI Skills: Comfort with utilising legal technology tools and AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in legal research, document review and KM processes. -Management Skills: Ability to coordinate and implement various programmes for knowledge dissemination, externally and internally. Good time management skills and strong organisational abilities, with the ability to effectively prioritise work. - Leadership Skills: Ability to take ownership of work given and achieve the specified goals and objectives.
