Job Title

We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer with 8 plus years of experience on RC & Structural Steel structures analysis & design along with some exposure on Revit / AutoCAD. Hands-on experience on Analysis & Designing tools like STAAD, ETBAS, Tekla Tedds, ROBOT. Predominately worked on projects based in UK, Europe, USA & Middle East. You will work within the Team of structures division wherein required to provide ongoing support to projects in structures as well as develop and manage various work scopes. You will assist in the project management and delivery of our structures projects you will be responsible for the timely delivery of our agreed deliverables and to ensure a high level of quality is maintained, along with company development & marketing. Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead projects from concept stage to completion.Collaborate & coordinate with our clients.As a Structural engineer you will work on structural analysis & design with drawings production for a range of projects.Review the design and specification for various types of buildings and sectors.Review & validation of design spreadsheet.Develop the structural steel design standards within the organization. Production of models, drawings & details with mentoring of team members covering all aspects of structural engineering.The tendering various packages in line with our client's brief / requirement.Connection design of steel structures as per AISC & ASCE, BS, EN & relevant codes.Preparation of design reports covering all aspects of structural engineering.Attend technical / project meetings via conference calls.Assist with the preparation of technical documentation for issue of tenders and construction.Ensuring all latest building standards and regulations are adhered to. Management of Project Schedule.Monitoring of all costs associated with your projects.Close out of all project items and review any lessons learned.Necessary RequirementGood written English and to be proficient at communication in English. Previous similar English work environment an advantage.The engineer will ideally possess minimum bachelor's qualification in civil Engineering.Experience in working on UK, Irish, European, USA & middle east projects.The engineer will possess 8+ years experience in the industry of which 4+ years will have ideally been spent in a Design role.Hands-on- experience in Tekla TEDDS is mandatory.Preferable to have experience in ETAB, STAAD Pro, ROBOT, Tekla designer suite (TEDDS), AutoCAD, Revit, Idea Statica, RAM connections, RISA, Navisworks etc.Experience coordinating/interfacing with other disciplines within the organization.Intermediate working knowledge in Revit, BIM Collab, BIM 360 and other CDEs.Experience in working on large scale projects.Excellent Microsoft Office Skills.Position requires thorough knowledge of structural design and engineering techniques.Knowledge of Euro, US, BS, IS and EN Standards a distinct advantage. Experience in working as part of a team.Very good proactive communicator.Be capable of taking the lead on projects with minimal input.Knowledge about the requirements of ISO 9001, & 19650.
