We’re hiring a Junior Visual Designer at Praja AppPraja App is a fast-growing hyperlocal social networking platform building meaningful digital communities across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.As we scale, we are strengthening our design team to elevate the visual experience and usability of our mobile app.We’re looking for a Junior Visual Designer with strong visual fundamentals who is excited to work on a real consumer product at scale. The role involves working closely with product and growth teams to design thoughtful, high-quality visuals that improve user experience and support product growth.This is a great opportunity for someone who understands user context, thinks in systems and components, communicates clearly, and enjoys working in a fast-moving environment.What you’ll work on• Design and refine mobile app screens in Figma• Create in-app visuals, UI states, banners, and reusable components• Design marketing creatives and campaign assets• Create graphics, icons, and brand illustrations• Maintain visual consistency across the app and brand• Organize and maintain clean, production-ready Figma files and components• Iterate quickly based on feedback and product experiments• Use AI and modern design tools to improve execution speed and qualityWhat we’re looking for• 1+ years of experience in visual/UI design• Strong proficiency in Figma (mandatory)• Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, spacing, hierarchy, and alignment• Understanding of UI states, usability basics, and interface consistency• Ability to think in components rather than isolated screens• Understanding of brand systems and visual coherence• Ability to translate product requirements into clear visual solutions• Strong communication skills and ability to explain design decisions• Comfortable taking feedback and iterating quickly• Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows• Strong attention to visual detail and quality standards• Working knowledge of Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)• Portfolio showcasing strong app or digital design work (mandatory)Good to have• Experience working on consumer mobile apps• Exposure to design systems and UX thinking• Basic motion or interaction design knowledge• Brand design experience• Familiarity with regional languages such as Telugu, Tamil, or KannadaCompensation₹5–8 LPA + ₹6L ESOPs(based on portfolio strength and product experience)Why join Praja App• Work on a fast-growing consumer mobile product• Real ownership and visible impact on the product• Direct exposure to product and growth decisions• Opportunity to grow into a stronger UI/UX designer• High learning velocity in a scaling environmentApply by sending your portfolio and resume to:[]
