Position: Production Manager – Fiber Cable Assembly Location: Chennai Experience: 8-15 YearsWe are looking for a hands-on Production Manager with strong experience in fiber optic cable assembly and testing for mission-critical applications. The role involves leading operator teams, ensuring quality, and driving high-volume production efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and oversee production and testing of fiber cable assemblies used in mission-critical applications.Lead a team of operators on VSFF connector assembly lines, ensuring adherence to process and quality standards.Manage assembly tooling, process controls, and yield improvement initiatives.Handle high fiber count cable assemblies catering to global customers.Operate and monitor optical testing and quality validation equipment, including:Loss Test Setup (IL/RL)InterferometersEnd Face Inspection SystemsSupport line setup, process optimization, and automation initiatives for high-volume manufacturing.Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.Required Skills & Experience7–12 years of experience in fiber optic cable assembly / optical connectivity manufacturing.Hands-on experience in VSFF connectors and assembly processes.Strong understanding of optical testing and inspection equipment.Experience in high fiber count assemblies for global customers.Exposure to high-volume production environments and line automation.Basic leadership experience in handling operator teams.CompensationSalary will be as per current CTC and experience.
