Material ProcurementProcure construction materials (cement, steel, tiles, fittings, electrical, plumbing, etc.)Ensure materials meet specifications and quality standardsCoordinate bulk purchasing to reduce costsTrack material requirements as per project scheduleSource vendors for complete construction lifecycle (start to finish)3. Cost Control & BudgetingPrepare cost comparisons and analysis reportsEnsure procurement stays within project budgetsIdentify cost-saving opportunitiesAvoid over-purchasing and wastage4. Purchase DocumentationPrepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs)Maintain records of quotations, contracts, and invoicesVerify bills and coordinate with accounts for paymentsMaintain procurement reports and MIS5. Inventory & Stock CoordinationMonitor stock levels at site and warehouseCoordinate with site engineers and storekeepersEnsure timely delivery of materialsTrack material consumption vs. purchase6.
