Join a vibrant community where innovation meets superior living.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations and strategy for The Hive Hostels and its luxury vertical, Aurus. Based in Mumbai, this full-time, on-site role involves overseeing financial planning, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic recommendations to drive business growth and sustainability. The CFO will also collaborate with senior management to align financial goals with organizational objectives.QualificationsStrong expertise in Financial Planning and proficiency in preparing and managing Financial Statements.In-depth knowledge of Financial Reporting and core Finance principles.Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret complex financial data and inform strategic decisions.Proven leadership and team management experience in financial operations.Experience in real estate, property management, or hospitality industries is an advantage.Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.Advanced knowledge of financial software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a CPA, CFA, or MBA is highly desirable.Required Skills & CompetenciesProven CFO / Senior Finance Leader with 15–20 years of strong experience in hospitality, real estate, or related industries preferred. Proven leadership and decision-making skillsExpertise in financial modeling, compliance, and strategic planningDeep expertise in financial strategy, capital planning, governance, and risk management.Demonstrated experience in scaling businesses and driving profitability.Strong executive presence with Board-level stakeholder management capability.Experience in managing expansion, transformation, or structured growth environments.Chartered Accountant preferred; MBA Finance with strong controllership foundation considered. Key Responsibilities:Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecastingDevelop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goalsManage cash flow, investments, and risk managementEnsure compliance with statutory laws, audits, and regulatory requirementsProvide strategic recommendations to the CEO and BoardOversee accounting, taxation, and financial reporting functions
