Senior Domain Lead – Trade Finance (Centre of Excellence)Experience8–10+ years of relevant experience in Trade FinanceRole OverviewNewgen is looking for a senior Trade Finance professional to join its Centre of Excellence (CoE). This role will drive the Trade Finance product vision and roadmap, bring AI‑led transformation into trade processes, and ensure Newgen’s solutions stay functionally rich, compliant, and ahead of competition. The role is hands‑on across product strategy, demos, POCs, and RFPs.Key ResponsibilitiesTrade Finance Domain & Product OwnershipAct as the Trade Finance SME across Newgen’s Trade Finance solutions.Own and influence the Trade Finance product roadmap across products such as LC, BG, collections, guarantees, remittances, and SCF touchpoints.Ensure alignment with ICC rules (UCP, ISBP, eUCP) and regulatory standards.Market & Competitive IntelligenceTrack global trade finance trends, digitization initiatives, and regulatory updates.Perform competitive analysis and identify opportunities for differentiation.Keep Newgen ahead of market and competition.AI‑Led InnovationDrive AI‑led use cases in Trade Finance (auto document checking, discrepancy management, STP, trade intelligence).Work closely with AI teams to operationalize LLM‑ and ML‑based capabilities.Customer Engagement, Demos & POCsLead Trade Finance product demos and customer workshops.Own POCs, including scope definition, success metrics, and customer validation.Act as a domain advisor during customer discussions and solution design.RFPs & Pre‑SalesPlay a key role in Trade Finance RFP responses, including compliance mapping and value articulation.Support Sales and Pre‑Sales teams in strategic pursuits.Required Skills & Experience8–10+ years of hands‑on experience in Trade Finance.Strong understanding of end‑to‑end trade processes, ICC rules, and bank operations.Experience in product roles, solutioning, demos, POCs, and RFPs.Ability to connect domain problems with AI‑led automation and innovation.Knowledge of global trends and compliances such as Islamic trade Finance, import trade loans, etcWhy Join Newgen Influence next‑generation banking products.Work at the intersection of domain, product, AI, and pre‑sales.High‑visibility roles impacting strategy, roadmap, and market leadership.
