From design and engineering to commissioning and remote monitoring, we offer end-to-end integration services tailored for utility-scale, commercial & industrial (C&I), and microgrid applications.At the core of what we do is seamless integration — combining advanced lithium-ion batteries, inverters, and energy management software to deliver storage systems for utilities, commercial & industrial users, and microgrids. From system design and engineering to deployment and monitoring, we provide end-to-end support to help our clients unlock the full value of energy storage.Position Summary:As a Application Engineer, you will lead the technical scoping, design, and application engineering of BESS solutions across multiple use-cases—grid services, renewable integration, C&I optimization, and backup power. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and business, helping us define customer solutions and ensure they are technically sound, bankable, and scalable.Key Responsibilities:Own system design and application engineering for BESS projects—from early customer engagement through execution.Translate customer requirements into optimised solution configurations based on customer requirements including battery sizing, PCS selection, EMS functionality, layout preparation, auxiliary systems and integration with renewable energy systems (solar, wind, etc.).Create technical proposals, one-line diagrams, performance models, and support cost estimation for customer bids.Lead pre-sales engineering efforts and act as the technical face to customers, channel partners, and EPCs.Collaborate with product, software, and hardware teams to ensure system-level interoperability and product-market fit.Stay updated on energy storage use-cases, market regulations, and grid codes, and integrate them into solution design.Build and improve technical documentation including system specifications, integration guides, performance benchmarks, datasheets, and O&M manuals.Help define and implement internal tools and processes to scale solution engineering as the company grows.Required QualificationsBachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.Experience4–10 years of experience in energy systems, preferably in BESS, solar-plus-storage, or power system integration.Strong knowledge of LFP battery chemistry, PCS, EMS, and energy use-cases (e.g., peak shaving, frequency regulation, arbitrage).Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguity-rich environment typical of startups.Familiarity with tools like HOMER, MATLAB, ETAP, or python-based simulation frameworks.Key CompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication; comfort with customer-facing technical discussions.Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and willingness to wear multiple hats.·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.·       Strong documentation and technical communication skills.·       Ability to work in fast-paced startup environments.Nice to Have:Startup or early-stage company experience.Exposure to Indian / international grid interconnection standards and energy policies.Understanding of project finance metrics (LCOE, IRR) in energy storage context.Experience collaborating with cross-functional product and software teams.
