For more information visit Overview: Job Title - Network ArchitectureJob Location - Bangalore Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Network Architecture with a strong background in end-to-end data center network design, planning, and implementation. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in modern data center technologies, security, and advanced routing protocols, with a proven ability to lead complex network projects from concept to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of network architecture, security best practices, and a commitment to building resilient, scalable, and high-performing network infrastructures. Key Responsibilities: Network Design & Architecture: • Lead the design and architecture of highly available, scalable, and secure end-to-end data center networks, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices. • Develop detailed network diagrams, design documents, and implementation plans for new data center deployments, expansions, and upgrades. • Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions to enhance performance, security, and efficiency. Implementation & Deployment: • Oversee and execute the implementation of complex network solutions within the data center environment. • Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. • Develop and implement network automation strategies to streamline operations and reduce manual effort. Security & Access Management: • Design, implement, and manage security policies on Cisco ASA firewalls, ensuring robust perimeter defence and internal segmentation. • Configure and maintain Cisco AnyConnect VPN solutions for secure remote access. • Implement and manage F5 AWAFTM (Advanced Web Application Firewall) policies to protect web applications from advanced threats. Load Balancing & Application Delivery: • Design, configure, and manage F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers (LTM, GTM) to ensure high availability and optimal performance of critical applications. • Work closely with application teams to understand requirements and optimize load balancing configurations. SDN & Network Virtualization: • Possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) for software-defined data center networking. • Design and implement ACI policies, EPGs, contracts, and tenant configurations. Routing & Switching: • Expert-level knowledge and practical experience with advanced routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and ISIS. • Design and implement complex routing solutions for inter-data center connectivity and external peering. • Expert-level hands on and knowledge on switching technology. IPv6 Expertise: • Demonstrate extensive knowledge and practical experience in IPv6 design, planning, and implementation across all layers of the network. • Lead the transition and integration of IPv6 into existing and new network infrastructures. Troubleshooting & Optimization: • Act as a senior escalation point for complex network issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions. • Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimization strategies. Documentation & Standards: • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network designs, configurations, and operational procedures. • Ensure adherence to industry best practices and internal security standards. Mentorship & Leadership: • Mentor junior network engineers and share knowledge to foster team growth. • Lead technical discussions and present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 10+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on data center design and implementation. • Deep expertise in end-to-end data centre network design, planning, and implementation. • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco ASA firewalls, including security policy configuration and management. • Proven experience with Cisco AnyConnect VPN design, deployment, and troubleshooting. • Expert-level knowledge and experience with F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers (LTM, GTM) and F5 AWAF. • Demonstrable expertise in Cisco ACI design, implementation, and operations. • Mastery of routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, and ISIS. • Extensive knowledge and practical experience with IPv6 design, deployment, and transition strategies. • Strong understanding of network security principles, best practices, and compliance standards. • Experience with network monitoring and management tools. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
