Role DescriptionJob TitleExport Merchandiser – WovenEvolv Clothing is looking for a skilled and proactive Export Merchandiser with strong experience in woven garments. The ideal candidate will manage the complete merchandising cycle from product development to shipment, coordinate with buyers and internal teams, and ensure smooth execution of orders while maintaining quality, costing, and delivery commitments.Key ResponsibilitiesMerchandising & Order ManagementHandle the complete merchandising process from inquiry to final shipment.Coordinate with sourcing, production, quality, and logistics teams for smooth order execution.Prepare order confirmations with buyers.Follow up with factories, vendors, and mills to ensure production timelines are met.Monitor T&A (Time & Action) calendar, approvals, and shipment schedules.Ensure all products meet buyer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.Product DevelopmentManage end-to-end product development for woven garments from sampling to bulk production.Coordinate with design, sampling, sourcing, and production teams to meet development timelines.Communicate with buyers regarding sample approvals, revisions, and development updates.Ensure fabrics, trims, and accessories meet buyer specifications and quality expectations.Maintain tech packs, sample tracking, and development documentation.Buyer CoordinationAct as the key point of contact for buyers for order updates and development progress.Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing clients.Provide regular updates on production status, approvals, and shipment schedules.Support product presentations, sample submissions, and seasonal developments.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: 4–8+ years in apparel export merchandising.Strong expertise in woven garment development and order execution.Good knowledge of costing, sourcing, and vendor coordination.Experience working with international buyers or export houses.Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and production processes.Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.Ability to handle multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.Preferred Candidate ProfileExperience handling European or US buyers.Knowledge of fabric sourcing, washing techniques, and finishing processes.Ability to work in a fast-paced apparel manufacturing environment.Exposure to ERP systems, T&A management, and order tracking tools.EducationBachelor’s degree in:Fashion TechnologyTextile EngineeringApparel MerchandisingOr any related field.If you are passionate about export merchandising, product development, and working with global fashion brands, we invite you to join our growing team at Evolv Clothing.
