Job Title: Senior Executive – Finance (Chartered Accountant)Location: MumbaiExperience: 3–7 YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeRole Overview:We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in capital markets to join our finance team. The role involves managing financial reporting, accounting, regulatory compliance, and analysis related to trading, investments, and treasury operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial instruments, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks, along with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).Account for capital market transactions including equities, derivatives, bonds, and other financial instruments.Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Perform valuation and Mark-to-Market (MTM) of financial instruments and investment portfolios.Monitor and reconcile trading positions, investments, and treasury activities.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including SEBI, RBI, and other applicable authorities.Prepare and submit regulatory returns and reports, and support audit processes.Strengthen and monitor internal controls and risk management frameworks.Analyze portfolio performance, P&L drivers, and financial trends to support decision-making.Collaborate with trading, treasury, risk, and compliance teams for seamless operations.RequirementsQualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.3–7 years of relevant experience in capital markets, financial services, or investment firms.Strong understanding of financial instruments including equities, derivatives, fixed income, and mutual funds.Knowledge of valuation methodologies and accounting for financial instruments.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as SEBI and RBI.Experience with financial reporting systems, ERP tools (SAP/Oracle), and advanced Excel.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.BenefitsOpportunity to work in a dynamic capital markets environment.Exposure to diverse financial instruments and complex transactions.Opportunity to contribute to strategic financial decision-making and business growth.Collaborative and high-performance work culture.Strong learning and career advancement opportunities within the organization.
