Aerial IQ is fully aligned with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.We are currently operational in India & the UAE.Role overview: Here is an exciting opportunity to work with UAS (unmanned aerial systems)/Drones and related solutions, and to set you up for a great journey in the UAS space globally.As a ‘UAV Engineer - Intern’, you will support the design and development of unmanned systems and work on engineering solutions across our products. The requirement is immediate, and we are looking for candidates who are passionate about UAS/Drones and aerospace systems in general. Working at Aerial IQ, you will gain core design and development skills within the Unmanned Aerial Technology space. Based on your performance and requirements at Aerial IQ, this internship could become a permanent role at the organisation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Hands-on experience in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS).Knowledge of propulsion systems, selection, and integration with the UAVsFamiliar with Fixed Wing and Multirotor UAVs.   Knowledge of Ardupilot and PX4 firmware.   Knowledge of embedded systems and embedded C is a plus.Must have piloting skills of a multirotor/fixed-wing drone using Ardupilot/PX4-based firmware. Planning and executing flight test plans for new firmware, testing different parameters, and integrating sensors with systems. Knowledge of 3D printers & material is a plus.  Good skills in research and solution analysis. Creativity, strong problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills Self-starter with the ability to work in a small start-up ecosystemQualificationsEducation/ Skills/ Experience:An appropriate candidate will possess the following:On-going or completed B.E. or equivalent degree in any field.Ability to work on projects demanding fast production start-ups.College Aeromodelling club pupils  Enthusiasm for engineering.
