We are hiring for a fast-growing professional services platform focused on the accounting industry, with teams and operations across multiple locations in the US and India.Job Title: Senior ManagerReports to: Director – Accounting & FinanceLocation: Hyderabad, IndiaAs a Senior Manager – Corporate HQ Accounting Team, you will be responsible for weekly and monthly accounting We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented manager to join our Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in US GAAP accounting and a strong background in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. This role requires a proactive professional who can manage complex accounting processes, mentor junior staff, and support the firm’s financial objectives.Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries,reconciliations, Book -Keeping and variance analyseKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & ClosePrepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with US GAAPManage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesPost journal entries and perform reconciliationsConduct variance analysis and maintain month-end schedulesWork on WIP & AR activity and reservesHandle bad debt expense, bonus accruals, payroll accruals, lease/rent, prepaid expenses, and depreciationAccounts PayableReview vendor bills daily and categorize expenses accuratelyIdentify fixed assets for capitalizationIdentify and account for prepaid expensesProcess employee reimbursementsProcess credit card transactionsAccounts ReceivablePerform customer ledger reconciliationsKnock-off invoice payments and daily cash receiptsPrepare cash receipt reports (legacy and non-legacy accounts)Bank ReconciliationReconcile all bank transactions with vendor/customer ledgersKnock-off bank charges and legacy transactionsReconcile complete month-end bank statementsMonth-End ActivitiesFetch and store bank reports in shared locationsBill back to end clients as per SOPRaise month-end invoices (Spectrum Invoice)Prepare and post journal entries for all month-end activitiesCompliance & ControlsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulationsSupport audits with accurate and timely documentationImplement and maintain strong internal controlsStay updated on US GAAP and regulatory changesTeam & Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with internal and external stakeholdersMentor and guide junior accounting staffQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CA preferred)Minimum 12+ years of progressive accounting experience (professional services firm preferred)5+ Years of team leading experienceStrong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirementsProficiency in Oracle NetSuite or QuickbooksAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsWork TimingsSince this role interfaces directly with US-based teams, the working hours will be 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.Dinner provided.Both side cabs provided.
