SKill:SAP IS OIL.Location:PAN INDIA.SAP IS Oil Consultant Midstream Refinery Operations Experience 610 years configurable for seniority Role Summary The SAP IS Oil Consultant will be responsible for designing configuring and supporting SAP IS Oil solutions for midstream and refinery operations covering hydrocarbon logistics inventory management transportation and integration with downstream and financial processes The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders operations teams and technical teams to ensure stable compliant and optimized refinery systems Key Responsibilities SAP IS Oil Functional Responsibilities Design configure and support SAP IS Oil solutions for midstream and refinery operations Implement and support key IS Oil components including o Hydrocarbon Management HPM o Transportation and Distribution TD o Bulk Logistics o Stock Management Inventory Valuation o Loss Management and GainLoss Accounting Configure and manage material movements across o Tanks pipelines terminals and depots o In transit inventory and batch management Support primary and secondary distribution processes Business Process Integration Map refinery and midstream business processes to SAP IS Oil best practices Integrate IS Oil with o SAP MM SD FICO o SAP PM EAM maintenance integration with tank and pipeline assets o External systems such as Terminal Automation Systems TAS Marine pipeline scheduling systems Measurement and custody transfer systems Support pricing excise duties and regulatory compliance relevant to oil gas operations Support Operations Provide L2L3 application support in a managed services or AMS model Perform incident analysis root cause analysis and permanent fixes Support month end and year end activities related to o Inventory close o Hydrocarbon reconciliation o Financial postings Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP teams for enhancements Required Skills Qualifications Functional Domain Skills Strong hands on experience in SAP IS Oil for midstream and refinery environments Solid understanding of o Refinery operations o Hydrocarbon supply chain o Terminal and pipeline logistics Experience with loss control reconciliation and inventory accuracy SAP Skills SAP IS Oil configuration and support experience with S4HANA Integration knowledge with MM SD FICO Working knowledge of IDocs interfaces and data migration Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work with refinery operations planning and finance teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working in 24x7 support or critical operations environments is a plus Good to Have Experience in large refinery or petrochemical complexes Experience to RISE with SAP SAP PCE or cloud hosted SAP landscapes Knowledge of regulatory compliance for oil gas logistics Prior experience in cutover go live or brownfield migration projects Education Bachelors degree in Engineering Information Technology or equivalent SAP IS Oil certification preferred
