We value integrity, accountability, and continuous learning, and offer a collaborative environment that supports professional growth.Job Description: (UK/US)The Senior Associate will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping, preparing management accounts, performing reconciliations, and assisting with client reporting and year-end processes in compliance with UK and US accounting standards.This role requires high attention to detail, good communication with international clients, and the ability to work independently with end clients.We are looking for an ambitious Senior Associate with a mindset to work with innovative and fast growing companies in a fast-paced environment and play a crucial role in the growth of the company.Responsibilities:● Manage portfolio of small clients and will support the managers on large / complex clients ● Design and setup bespoke processes for each client ● Overseeing regular transaction processing across portfolio of clients - should have solid day to day bookkeeping experience including AP, AR and month end closure ● Completing the month-end close process, including identifying and posting journals ● Manage client finance inboxes proactively ● Processing payroll and VAT submission to HMRC ● Preparation of management accounts and investor reporting ● Supporting managers on some operational responsibilities ● Carrying out reviews of own work, and that of other team members ● Supporting on ad-hoc projects including consolidation, business plans and due diligence work ● Training and getting new members to the pace ● Providing exceptional service to clients and build strong relationshipRequirements● Education: Qualified accountant (CA/ACCA) or a strong Semi qualified ● Experience: 3-5 years of UK/US accounting experience ● Software Knowledge: Xero and QuickBooks ● Technical Skills: Strong Excel & GAAP knowledge (IFRS, UK/US GAAP) ● Preferred Skills: Google workspace (Docs, sheets, slides) and Excel skills ● Soft Skills: Excellent oral and written communication, time management, client coordination, proactive learner, attention to detail● You will be: o An accountant with excellent numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills. o Self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job. o Ability to lead engagements and work under pressure in a fast-paced start-up environment. o Someone who is excited about using new technology to make tasks more efficient and improve the way we work.
