You will be responsible for creating season-relevant collections, mentoring junior designers, and working closely with the production and sourcing teams to ensure quality execution. This role requires strong trend forecasting skills, design leadership, and commercial awareness.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end design development for collections (concept to sampling to production)Research trends, market insights, fabrics, and color storiesDevelop creative mood boards, design themes, and seasonal conceptsCreate detailed tech packs and design specificationsWork closely with merchandising, sourcing, and production teamsApprove fabrics, trims, prints, and samplesGuide and mentor junior designers and internsEnsure designs align with brand identity and customer preferencesMonitor timelines and manage multiple projects efficientlyConduct design reviews and resolve fit or quality issuesStay updated on global fashion trends and competitor brandsCollaborate with marketing teams for campaigns and launch supportRequired Skills & QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Fashion Design or related fieldExpertise in silhouettes, fabric selection, and garment constructionProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS OfficeStrong understanding of trend analysis and color theoryKnowledge of tech packs and production processesExcellent communication and team management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, startup environmentDetail-oriented with a creative and commercial mindsetWhy Join Us?Opportunity to shape collections from scratchWork in a creative and collaborative cultureDirect impact on brand growth and product strategyFast-paced environment with learning opportunitiesCompetitive salary and growth prospectsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Technology, or related fields.4–5 years of textile development, sourcing, or quality experience.Strong understanding of woven, knitted, and blended fabrics.Knowledge of manufacturing, finishing, and testing processes.Preferably from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or similar institutes.Applications-
