JOB ROLE & PROFILEHead of Accounts & Finance (Fast-Growing Realty Firm – Goa)JOB PURPOSEWe are seeking a technically proficient and result-oriented finance professional to lead the Accounts and Finance function for our fast-growing Real Estate operations in Goa. The role will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, effective cash flow management, and providing strategic financial insights to support senior management in decision-making and project profitability.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES / PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:A. Financial Statements & Financial Governance (30%)Ensure timely and accurate finalization of monthly and periodic financial statements.Maintain audit-ready books of accounts at all times.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls. B. Project Budgeting & Cash Flow Management (25%)Prepare and actively manage project budgets and cash flow projections.Monitor project-wise financial performance and profitability.Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.C. Contractor & Vendor Financial Management (20%)Oversee contractor and vendor bill processing and verification against contracts/work orders.Manage retention amounts and security deposits.Ensure timely payments while maintaining financial discipline and documentation.D. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance (15%)Ensure compliance with GST regulations applicable to the construction/realty sector.Manage TDS/TCS deductions, filings, and statutory compliance.Ensure adherence to RERA-related financial requirements.E. MIS Reporting & Financial Analytics (10%)Design and deliver high-impact MIS reports and financial dashboards for senior management.Provide data-driven insights to support operational and strategic decisions.Strengthen financial transparency through structured reporting. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS + Inter CA, OR Articleship (either 1 is mandatory)Experience in Realty or Construction sector preferred.5–10 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance functions, along with Team Leadership exposure.Looking for candidates from Vasco & nearby places only. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISEStrong knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.Expertise in GST (Construction sector), TDS/TCS, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency in Tally and MS Office.Strong analytical, financial planning, and problem-solving skills.High standards of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct.Interest in process improvement and digital transformation in finance.
