About StrideOneStrideOne is a unified technology led financial platform and RBI-registered NBFC enabling MSMEs and high-growth businesses through structured credit solutions, receivables financing, and receivables management.Through a growing network of enterprise anchors and institutional lenders, StrideOne is building the financial infrastructure for supply chain ecosystems combining credit, receivables management, and data-driven financial workflows.With a rapidly expanding lending portfolio and strong institutional partnerships, the company is entering its next phase of scale, focused on diversifying capital sources, strengthening balance sheet efficiency, and building scalable capital market programs.Role OverviewThe Finance Controller will lead the controllership function, ensuring financial accuracy, strong governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and robust reporting in a high-growth NBFC environment.The role will work closely with the CFO and leadership team across treasury, lending, and operations to maintain strong financial discipline while supporting scalable growth and institutional-grade financial processesKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & ControllershipOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with IND AS / IFRS and regulatory requirements.Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements, balance sheet schedules, and variance analysis.Manage the month-end and year-end close process and prepare management reporting packs for leadership review.Regulatory Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with RBI regulations, statutory filings, tax requirements (GST, Income Tax), and other regulatory obligations.Lead statutory, internal, and system audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.Develop and strengthen internal financial controls (IFC) and risk control frameworks.Process & Systems ImprovementDrive improvements in finance systems, reporting automation, and ERP workflows.Build scalable financial workflows aligned with the company’s technology-led operating model.Treasury & Funding SupportSupport financial reporting, compliance, and accounting for funding transactions including NCDs, securitization, and direct assignments.Work closely with the treasury function on cash flow planning, liquidity monitoring, and capital structure management.Assist in monitoring ALM and ALCO reporting to ensure balance sheet discipline.Team LeadershipLead and mentor the finance team across accounting and reporting functions.Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and operational excellence within the finance organization.Required Skills & QualificationsEducationChartered Accountant (CA) MBA / CFA (Finance) is an advantageExperience10–15 years of experience in finance controllership, preferably within NBFCs, fintech, or financial servicesStrong experience in financial reporting, audit management, regulatory compliance, and treasury coordinationExposure to fundraising, capital markets instruments (NCDs / PTCs), or securitization structuresGood understanding of RBI regulations, IND AS accounting standards, and NBFC reporting frameworks
