Position: Senior Compliance Consultant Location: Satellite, AhmedabadShift Time: 12:30 PM to 10:00 PMOverview:We are seeking a highly organised, detail‑driven Senior Compliance Consultant to oversee and enhance all compliance processes related to candidate onboarding, contract management, and client due diligence. This role is critical in ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of legal, contractual, and operational compliance while delivering a seamless experience to candidates and clients.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in recruitment compliance, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast‑paced environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Candidate Onboarding & Compliance ChecksConduct full end‑to‑end compliance checks for all candidates prior to placement.Verify identity documentation, right‑to‑work status, residency, and professional certifications.Ensure all background checks are completed, including employment history, references, and (where required) criminal record checks.Maintain accurate and secure compliance records in line with GDPR and internal policies.Liaise with candidates to collect missing documentation and resolve compliance queries promptly.2. Contract Review & Risk ManagementReview client and candidate contracts to ensure accuracy, legal compliance, and alignment with commercial terms.Identify and escalate any potential liability issues, indemnity risks, or unfavourable clauses.Work closely with internal teams and external legal advisors to negotiate amendments when required.Ensure all contract extensions, amendments, and renewals are processed correctly and on time.3. Proposal & Documentation SupportAssist in preparing and completing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), supplier questionnaires, and compliance documentation for new and existing clients.Provide accurate information regarding compliance processes, insurance coverage, and operational standards.Coordinate with sales and delivery teams to ensure all documentation is consistent and professionally presented.,4. Contract Extensions & Paperwork ManagementManage the full lifecycle of contract extensions, including issuing extension paperwork, updating internal systems, and ensuring signatures are obtained.Maintain a clear audit trail of all contractual documents.Communicate proactively with consultants and clients to avoid lapses in contract coverage.5. Client Credit Checks & Financial ComplianceConduct credit checks on new and existing client organisations to assess financial stability and mitigate risk.Maintain accurate records of credit assessments and ensure they are reviewed periodically.Support the finance team with credit control activities, including chasing overdue payments when required.Assist with raising invoices and ensuring billing information is accurate and compliant with contractual terms.6. Internal Compliance & Process ImprovementContinuously review and refine compliance processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory standards.Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance best practices.Monitor industry regulations and ensure we remain fully compliant with UK and EU recruitment legislation.Skills & Experience RequiredProven experience in compliance within a recruitment or staffing environment (IT recruitment preferred).Strong understanding of UK and EU right‑to‑work regulations, GDPR, and recruitment compliance standards.Excellent contract literacy with the ability to identify risks and negotiate amendments.High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Experience with credit checks, invoicing, or credit control is highly advantageous.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Why Join us?Work with clients across the UK and Europe.Opportunity to shape and improve compliance processes.Collaborative culture with strong support from leadership and delivery teams.Competitive salary and opportunities for professional development.
