Location: GurgaonReports to: [Global Head – HR Operations ]Role OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned operations leader to head critical HR services including Payroll,Statutory Compliance, Insurance, HR Technology, Taxation, and Shared Services governance.The role requires a strong blend of operational depth, regulatory expertise, stakeholdermanagement, and analytical problem-solving capabilities to drive process excellence and servicedelivery at scale.Key Responsibilities1. Payroll & Taxation Governance Lead end-to-end payroll operations ensuring 100% accuracy and timely disbursement. Oversee payroll compliances including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, gratuity, bonus, andother statutory obligations. Ensure adherence to Income Tax regulations and employee taxation processes. Manage audits, reconciliations, and statutory reporting.2. Statutory Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory frameworks. Liaise with government authorities and external consultants where required. Lead internal and external compliance audits. Build robust SOPs to minimize compliance risk.3. Insurance & Benefits Administration Manage group health insurance, GPA, GMC, and other employee benefit programs. Drive vendor governance and renewal negotiations. Ensure smooth claims processing and stakeholder experience.4. HR Technology & Systems Lead HRMS governance including payroll system integration. Drive automation, process digitization, and data integrity initiatives. Partner with IT for system upgrades and enhancements. Ensure accurate data flow across platforms.5. HR Shared Services Operations Establish service delivery standards and SLAs. Drive continuous improvement in HR service processes. Monitor TATs, error rates, and process efficiency metrics. Build scalable operational frameworks.6. Stakeholder & Team Management Partner with Business Leaders, Finance, Legal, and IT teams. Lead and mentor a team of HR operations professionals. Drive cross-functional collaboration and governance alignment.Candidate Profile 10–15 years of experience in HR Operations / Shared Services. Strong expertise in payroll management, statutory compliance, and taxation. Experience managing HRMS platforms and automation initiatives. Prior experience in multi-location or large workforce environments preferred. Strong understanding of labour laws and regulatory frameworks. Proven experience in handling audits and compliance inspections.Key Competencies Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. Structured problem-solving approach.
