Job PurposeThe Manufacturing Test Process/Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the PCB testing function within the PCB Testing Division. This role ensures robust test strategies, operational readiness, and Production run in shifts. The manager will oversee test engineering teams, drive process optimization, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess & Test EngineeringDevelop, implement, and continuously improve PCB test processes (ICT, FCT, Flying Probe, Boundary Scan, End-of-Line).Lead equipment qualification, correlation, and validation activities.Establish and monitor test coverage metrics, yield improvement programs, and defect analysis frameworks.Ensure compliance with IPC standards, ISO certifications, and customer-specific requirements.Operations & Continuous ImprovementMonitor and report on test KPIs (yield, cycle time, downtime, escapes).Implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to optimize throughput and reduce cost of test.Manage equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and spares inventory.Ensure Zero Breakdown of the line due to test issues Leadership & Stakeholder EngagementLead, mentor, and develop a team of test engineers and technicians.Partner with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth factory operations.Communicate effectively with suppliers, and executive stakeholders regarding test readiness and performance.Regular reports of the Test equipment’s Utilization ,Downtime and the OEE Key InterfacesInternal: Production, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Design Engineering, Program Management.External: CFT , Test Equipment Vendors, Component Suppliers.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.10+ years of experience in PCB testing within EMS/ODM/OSAT environments.Strong knowledge of ICT, FCT, Flying Probe, Boundary Scan, EOL Tester , AOI/X-Ray integration, Test Automation. Proven track record in NPI-to-HVM transfers and test process optimization.Familiarity with test software platforms (Teradyne, Keysight3070, SPEA, JTAG tools).Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent preferred.
