Job Title: Data Analyst / Data ScientistLocation: Pune Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Full-time Joining: Immediate Joiner PreferredRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Data Scientist with 8+ years of experience who can translate complex data into actionable insights to support business decisions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and leadership teams to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and create data-driven solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.Develop predictive and statistical models to solve business problems.Design and build data dashboards and reports using BI tools.Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analytics solutions.Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality and accuracy.Develop and optimize data pipelines and data processing workflows.Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.Apply machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques where relevant.Ensure proper documentation of data models, processes, and analysis.Required SkillsStrong experience in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.Proficiency in SQL and database management.Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar).Strong knowledge of statistics, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing environments.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Exposure to ETL processes and data engineering concepts.Experience in AI/ML model deployment is an added advantage.Key CompetenciesData Analysis & VisualizationPredictive ModelingMachine LearningStatistical AnalysisBusiness Insight Generation
