Driven by ISO-certified processes, our 600+ professionals ensure seamless delivery—whatever the format, scale, or location.Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Editorial & Design Operations Lead with a strong newspaper background to manage end-to-end print editorial workflows, page design, and delivery operations. This role is a hybrid of editorial expertise and team/operations management, with a stronger tilt toward editorial and design leadership.The role will replace two positions and hence requires maturity, accountability, and hands-on ownership.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage print editorial and page design workflows for newspapers/publicationsEnsure accurate content placement, layout quality, and creative positioningCoordinate with editorial, design, and production teams to meet tight print deadlinesHandle late-night shifts / press run schedules and breaking news scenariosOversee daily operations, task allocation, and delivery trackingAct as a bridge between editorial teams and managementDrive continuous improvement in quality, turnaround time, and efficiencySupport team mentoring and performance managementRequired Skills & Experience10+ years of experience in newspaper / print publishingMandatory background from leading newspapers (e.g., Times of India, Hindustan Times, or similar)Strong understanding of:Newspaper page layouts & design principlesEditorial workflows and content hierarchyPrint production processesProven ability to manage teams and daily operationsComfortable working in high-pressure, deadline-driven environmentsWillingness to work late hours / rotational shiftsDesired TraitsStrong editorial judgment and eye for detailCalm under pressure with quick decision-making abilityOwnership mindset and accountabilityAbility to balance hands-on work with leadership responsibilitiesCompensationCompetitive and aligned with industry standardsStructured within an overall optimized budgetLocationGurugram, Haryana / RemotelyReports toGlobal Accounts and India Operations Director
