Role: Server Administrator – Team Lead (On-Site | Navi Mumbai | Night Shift – US Hours)We are hiring a Server Administrator – Team Lead to lead hybrid infrastructure operations for U.S.-based clients. This role requires strong technical depth across servers, virtualization, cloud, backups, automation, endpoint management (Intune + Jamf/Addigy), along with mature leadership and excellent communication skills. You will manage a team of engineers, ensure uptime, drive SLA-based delivery, and collaborate closely with network, security, and Microsoft 365 teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor server/systems engineers; drive accountability, incident ownership, and SLA performanceAdminister Windows Server (all versions) and Linux (support-level); manage VMware ESXi/vSphere & Hyper-V environmentsLead capacity planning, clustering, failover, replication, and HA designDeploy and support hybrid infrastructure across Azure & AWS, including cloud migrations and hybrid connectivityManage backups & DR using Veeam; perform restore tests and maintain resiliency plansOversee RMM tools (N-able, ConnectWise Automate) for monitoring, patching, automation, and scripted remediationOwn structured IT service delivery in ConnectWise Manage: tickets, projects, RCAs, change control, documentationLead endpoint & device management: Intune, Jamf/Addigy, Windows/macOS/iOS/AndroidImplement zero-touch onboarding (Autopilot, ABM/DEP), compliance policies, conditional access, security baselinesManage endpoint security: encryption, EDR, compliance enforcement, lifecycle managementCollaborate with Network, M365/Identity, and Security teams; maintain SOPs, diagrams, and infrastructure standardsMust-Have Technical SkillsServers: Windows Server (all versions), Linux (support exposure)Virtualization: VMware ESXi/vSphere, Hyper-VCloud: Azure & AWS server deployment + hybrid connectivityBackup & DR: Veeam Backup & ReplicationRMM: N-able, ConnectWise AutomatePSA: ConnectWise Manage (critical)Endpoint Management: Intune + Jamf or Addigy (MDM/UEM)Security: Compliance policies, encryption, conditional accessScripting: PowerShell (preferred), Bash/Python (nice to have)Leadership & Soft Skills3+ years leading or mentoring technical teamsStrong English communication for U.S. clients and stakeholdersAbility to lead war-room escalations and incident responsesHighly organized, accountable, and process-drivenComfortable making operational decisions in real timeShift & Work Requirements
