Role: Video EditorExperience: 3–5 YearsLocation: ChennaiDepartment: Creative / Media ProductionKey Duties and Responsibilities1) Video Editing & ProductionEdit raw footage into high-quality videos aligned with brand guidelines and project objectives.Create engaging video content for digital platforms including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.Work on different video formats such as corporate videos, promotional content, reels, and short-form videos.Add effects, transitions, motion graphics, sound, and color correction to enhance final output.2) Creative CollaborationCollaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to understand project requirements.Translate concepts and scripts into compelling visual stories.Provide creative inputs and suggest improvements to enhance video quality and engagement.3) Post-Production ManagementManage end-to-end post-production processes including editing, rendering, and final delivery.Ensure timely delivery of video projects while maintaining high quality standards.Maintain organized project files, raw footage, and final assets for future use.4) Quality & Brand ComplianceEnsure all video content aligns with brand tone, style, and guidelines.Review and revise edits based on feedback from stakeholders.Maintain consistency in output quality across all projects.5) Communication & CoordinationCommunicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders regarding project timelines and updates.Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrate strong English communication skills (written and verbal).Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Media, Animation, Film Production, or a related field (preferred).3–5 years of professional experience in video editing or post-production.Strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work.Skills & ToolsTools:Adobe Premiere ProDaVinci ResolveFinal Cut Pro (FCP)Adobe After EffectsAdobe PhotoshopKey Skills:Video editing & storytellingMotion graphics & visual effectsColor grading & audio editingAttention to detailTime management & multitaskingStrong English communication skills
