This role involves converting and building label templates, configuring print infrastructure, implementing secure authentication, and ensuring business continuity. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in BarTender, printer configuration, and enterprise system integrations (SAP, Oracle, Honeywell).Key Responsibilities1. Label Template Development (BarTender 10.1)Convert existing label templates from legacy systems into BarTender 10.1 formats.Design and develop new label templates to support complex or custom business workflows.Optimize templates for performance, compliance, barcode readability, and long-term maintainability.Ensure all templates adhere to regulatory, branding, and operational standards.2. Printer Configuration & Print Output ValidationConfigure and manage label printers for compatibility with BarTender 10.1.Validate printed labels for alignment, scan accuracy, DPI consistency, and data correctness.Troubleshoot driver issues, print quality problems, and connectivity failures.Support deployment of Print Station and label-printing workstations across environments.3. Security & Authentication IntegrationConfigure Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for secure user access to BarTender 10.1 and related applications.Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and identity management requirements.4. Disaster Recovery & Business ContinuityImplement and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity (BC) procedures for BarTender environments.Document failover processes, backup requirements, and recovery steps.Test and validate continuity plans with IT infrastructure teams.5. Systems & Data IntegrationEstablish secure API integrations with SAP and Oracle to enable dynamic data-driven label printing.Enable flat file integration for Honeywell applications to support automated workflows and data ingestion.Configure Print Station integrations using a license-only model, ensuring seamless deployment without full Client Automation.Troubleshoot and optimize data mapping, workflows, and communication between systems.6. Testing, Quality Assurance & DeploymentConduct end-to-end functional testing with business teams to confirm accurate label output and system reliability.Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve identified issues.Document test cases, configuration details, and deployment requirements.Support rollout across development, QA, and production environments.Required QualificationsHands-on experience with BarTender 10.1 (Designer, Integration Builder, Print Station).Strong understanding of label printers, barcode symbologies (1D/2D), and print drivers.Experience with SSO/MFA configuration (Azure AD, Okta, Ping, etc.).Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, and Honeywell system integrations (API, flat file, or middleware).Familiarity with data mapping, workflow automation, and print server configuration.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
