Job Title: Business Head (D2C / Consumer Brand)About UsSalt Oral Care is a fast-growing premium oral care brand focused on building products that consumers don’t just try once — but come back to.We are scaling across D2C, marketplaces, retail (GT/MT), and HORECA, with a vision to build a multi-channel and global consumer brand.About the roleWe are looking for a Business Head to lead and scale our brand to the next phase of growth. This is a high-impact leadership role with complete ownership of P&L, revenue growth, and business strategy.You will work closely with the founders to drive category leadership, expansion (India + International), and multi-channel growth across D2C, marketplaces, and offline channels including HORECA.This role requires a strong operator who can balance strategy with execution, and has experience scaling consumer brands in FMCG, personal care, healthcare, or skincare.Key ResponsibilitiesBrand strategy and PositiongDefine and drive the overall brand strategy across all channels (Amazon, D2C, quick commerce, retail)Ensure consistent brand communication and positioning across platformsBuild a strong and differentiated consumer brand in oral careBusiness & P&L OwnershipOwn the brand’s revenue, margins, and contributionWork closely with finance on pricing, cost structures, and profitabilityTrack and optimise key metrics: revenue, CAC, LTV, retention, and contribution marginGrowth & ExpansionIdentify and drive growth opportunities across channels and marketsDefine international expansion strategy (UAE, US, UK, etc.)Evaluate new product opportunities and category expansionPricing & Commercial StrategyDecide pricing, discounting, and promotional strategiesBalance growth with profitability across all channelsMonitor channel-wise P&L and optimise performanceOperations & Supply Chain AlignmentWork closely with operations to solve supply chain, logistics, and inventory issuesIdentify bottlenecks affecting sales and customer experienceEnsure availability and efficient distribution across channelsCustomer & Retention StrategyAnalyse customer behaviour and repeat purchase patternsBuild retention and lifecycle strategies to improve LTVWork closely with marketing and product teams to drive customer loyaltyCross-Functional LeadershipWork across marketing, product, finance, operations, and sales teamsAlign all functions towards common business goalsDrive execution with speed and accountabilityWho We’re Looking ForWe are looking for candidates who have worked in roles such as:Category Manager (FMCG) Business Head / P&L Owner in a D2C brand Founder’s Office / Startup Operator Growth Lead in a consumer brandMust-Have SkillsStrong commercial and business thinkingExperience owning revenue or P&LAbility to manage multiple functions togetherData-driven decision-making mindsetStrong problem-solving and execution skillsSuccess in This Role Will Be Measured ByRevenue growthMargin improvementIncrease in repeat purchase / retentionSuccessful expansion into new marketsOperational efficiency and inventory healthInterested candidates please email your profile on
