Position: Interventional RadiologistLocation: Caribbean RegionExperience Required: Minimum 2 YearsEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Vascular Interventional Radiologist to joinour medical team in the Caribbean region. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinicalexpertise, advanced interventional radiology skills, and a patient-centered approach todelivering high-quality vascular care. This role involves performing minimally invasive image-guided procedures, managing vascular disorders, and collaborating closely withmultidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities• Perform a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology proceduresincluding:o Angiography, angioplasty, and stent placemento Thrombolysis and thrombectomyo Embolization procedureso Central venous accesso IVC filter placement and retrievalo Peripheral vascular interventions• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and X-raysrelevant to vascular conditions.• Evaluate patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring safe and optimal care outcomes.• Participate in emergency on-call rotations as required.• Work closely with vascular surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists, and other specialists inintegrated patient management.• Provide expert guidance on interventional procedures to referring physicians andclinical staff.• Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately and timely.Quality, Compliance & Safety• Ensure all procedures follow established clinical protocols, safety standards, andregulatory guidelines.• Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives, audits, and trainingsessions.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of interventional radiology advancements and bestpractices.Qualifications & Requirements• MBBS/MD degree with specialization in Radiology from a recognized institution.• Fellowship or formal training in Interventional Radiology (preferred).• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in vascular interventional radiology.• Valid medical license and eligibility for registration in the Caribbean region (supportmay be provided for credentialing).• Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging and performing image-guidedinterventions.• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient management skills.• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.Preferred Skills• Experience with advanced endovascular techniques.• Familiarity with hybrid operating rooms and state-of-the-art IR equipment.• Commitment to continuous learning and teaching (if applicable).• Culturally sensitive and adaptable to working in a diverse Caribbean healthcareenvironment.What We Offer• Competitive salary and benefits package.• Opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped healthcare facility in a highlydesirable Caribbean location.• Support for relocation, licensing, and visa processing (where applicable).• Professional growth opportunities, continuing medical education, and exposure to adiverse clinical case mix.
