TechExperience: 5+ yearsLocation: PunePurpose of the Position:To create and manage 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for chassis components and systems, ensuring design accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The role supports product development by delivering robust designs that meet functional, safety, and cost objectives for current and future vehicle programs.Authority:Develop and maintain CAD models and detailed drawings for components, assemblies, and systems. Ensure adherence to design standards, GD&T principles, and company-specific CAD guidelines. Collaborate with design, simulation, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and optimize designs Manage design changes and maintain version control in data management system in KVS & Connect Coordinate with suppliers and external agencies for design feasibility and data exchange. Provide final CAD data release and documentation for production and validation.Skills Required:Self-starting, self-motivation, working with little guidance with good analytical skills.Ability to think in a wider scope, ability to plan and develop a structureExcellent communication skills, English in written and verbal form, German / Czech Language Proficiency would be an added advantageDeep Technical analysis, problem solving and understanding of chassis components & vehicle dynamics CAD tool expertise- CATIA V5, Data management system – KVS & Connect ( Teamcenter)Time Management along with Quality Consciousness.Driving License, Vehicle class A0 minimumResponsibilities and Tasks:Responsible for creating and updating CAD models and drawings for vehicle components and assemblies as per project requirements.Manage design changes, maintain version control in Data management system like KVS and ensure timely release of CAD data.Ensure compliance with GD&T standards, company CAD guidelines, and regulatory requirements in all designs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Simulation, Manufacturing) to resolve design issues and optimize for manufacturability.Coordinate with suppliers for design feasibility, data exchange, and integration of purchased components.Provide CAD support for prototype builds and pre-series vehicle developmentParticipate in design reviews, provide technical inputs, and ensure alignment with project timelinesRepresentation from chassis team for pre-series cars Vehicle Audit & respective meetingsSupport benchmarking activities by creating CAD models for competitor parts and analyzing design differencesEqual Opportunity and Mutual RespectCompany assures equal opportunity and equal treatment, irrespective of ethnicity, skin color, gender, disability, ideology, faith, nationality, sexual orientation, social background or political conviction, provided it is based on democratic principles and tolerance towards those of contrary convictions.
