The role requires leadership in solution architecture, platform integration, architecture governance, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to design and support integrated virtualized solutions aligned to business, security, and operational requirements. The focus is on outcome-driven delivery within regulated enterprise environments.Architecture & Design Lead solution and enterprise architecture activities, translating business, security, and operational requirements into implementable technical architecturesDrive architecture governance, including architecture board reviews, approvals, and compliance to enterprise standardsIdentify, document, and justify product gaps, risks, constraints, and acceptable architectural deviationsTranslate high-level architectures into executable technical designs, standards, and reference architecturesImplementation Design, deploy, and operate solutions using HPE VM Essentials / Morpheus, with strong hands-on involvementProvide advanced Linux / UNIX administration and troubleshooting, including performance tuning and stability improvementsDesign and implement KVM-based virtualization solutions in enterprise environmentsDevelop automation scripts and tooling to standardize provisioning, configuration, validation, and lifecycle management.Support technical validation, UAT, and production readiness activitiesPerform root cause analysis with structured incident, problem, and post-incident documentationDelivery & Collaboration Resolve technical dependencies and cross-domain integration challenges Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including, operations, compliance, and business stakeholdersDemonstrate high accountability and reliability in meeting delivery commitmentsContext-switch effectively between technical deep dives, architectural discussions, and stakeholder conversationsMandatory Technical Skills KVM virtualization experience Strong infrastructure and compute background:o Virtualizationo Networkingo Storageo SecurityStrong capability to analyse customer requirements and develop viable technical solution proposalsStrong understanding of Linux /Unix o Kernel behavior, boot process, systemdo Filesystems (ext4, XFS, GFS2)o LVM, VxFS, multipathing, udevo Experience in Serviceguard and pacemaker clustering technologies.Strong understanding of Storage o SAN/NAS concepts: FC, iSCSI, NFSo Storage integration with Linux and virtualization platforms.Strong understanding of Virtualization & Compute o Extensive experience with KVM/libvirt (virsh, virt-install, virt-manager)o Strong understanding of VMware concepts (ESXi, vCenter) and migration strategieso CPU models, NUMA awareness, SR-IOV, PCI passthrough, nested virtualization.Strong understanding of Networking o Deep understanding of Linux networking:§ Bonding (LACP), bridging, VLANs§ TCP/IP fundamentals, MTU, jumbo frameso Troubleshooting complex network paths in virtualized environments.Advanced Linux administration and troubleshooting
