You will be responsible for guiding technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring successful delivery of complex initiatives.This is a hands-on leadership role, not a people-manager-only position.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipOwn and drive technical design decisions across frontend and backend systemsReview and approve architecture and design proposalsEnsure systems are scalable, maintainable, and secureSet and uphold engineering standards and best practicesEvaluate, guide, and set guardrails for the responsible use of AI-assisted development tools to improve team productivity and code quality.Delivery & ExecutionLead the delivery of complex, cross-cutting features and initiativesBreak down ambiguous product requirements into executable technical plansIdentify technical risks early and proactively mitigate themBalance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform healthTeam & MentorshipMentor Senior and Associate engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and guidanceRaise the overall engineering capability of the teamFoster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvementPartner closely with Product, QA, and Clinical stakeholdersRequired Skills & Experience2–12 years of professional software engineering experienceProven experience leading technical initiatives or teamsStrong expertise in:1. React.js and frontend architecture 2. Node.js backend systems and API design3. AWS cloud services (EC2 / ECS / EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch)Deep understanding of:1. System design and scalability2. Data modeling and performance3. Security and privacy considerationsHands-on experience with:1. CI/CD pipelines2.
