This role is heavily focused on manual testing (80%) with some automation (20%), ensuring seamless user experiences across web platforms and browser extensions.Key ResponsibilitiesManual Testing & Quality AssurancePerform end-to-end manual testing across web applications and browser extensionsIdentify bugs across UI, UX, functionality, and responsivenessConduct cross-browser and multi-device testingBug Tracking & ReportingCreate detailed bug reports with screenshots, videos, and reproduction stepsWork closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and validate fixesEnsure proper severity classification and prioritizationDesign & Exploratory TestingPerform design QA by comparing implementation with Figma/mockupsConduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and hidden issuesValidate pixel-perfect UI implementation across screens and devicesRelease & Regression TestingExecute regression testing for critical workflows before releasesBuild and maintain test scenarios based on real user behaviorEnsure smooth releases with minimal production issuesRequired Skills & QualificationsCore Requirements2–4 years of experience in QA (preferably in startup environments)Strong attention to detail with a focus on UI/UX and design accuracyExperience writing clear, structured, and reproducible bug reportsFamiliarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Linear, etc.)Strong communication and collaboration skillsTechnical SkillsHands-on experience with Browser DevToolsBasic understanding of HTML/CSSExperience with Figma or similar design tools for comparisonBasic API testing using PostmanFamiliarity with screen recording tools (Loom, CloudApp)Experience testing across web, mobile web, and browser extensionsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong product mindset—ability to think like an end userAbility to identify edge cases and usability gapsComfortable working in fast-paced, high-ownership environmentsAbility to context-switch quickly across features and workflowsWhat You’ll OwnManual testing across web platform and Chrome extensionDesign validation and pixel-perfect UI checksExploratory and regression testingClose collaboration with developers for quick issue resolution
