As a pioneer in autonomous drone defence systems, Indrajaal is dedicated to protecting national security while shaping the future of defence technology.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to lead the deployment, configuration, and testing of Indrajaal’s anti-drone systems across operational sites. This role demands technical agility, customer-facing maturity, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain systems in remote and high-stakes environments. The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for performing on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of advanced systems. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, providing preventative maintenance, and supporting customers to ensure optimal system performance. The role will involve technical support to facilitate seamless operations and uphold high service standards.Deployment & IntegrationDeploy and integrate drone system applications, sensor configurations, and software at client locationsConduct test flights to validate operational readinessTechnical Operations & TroubleshootingProvide hands-on maintenance and technical support during and after deploymentTroubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely, coordinating with support teamsStakeholder CoordinationInterface with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure deployment success and feedback integrationParticipate in demonstrations, pilot projects, POCs, and field trials for new products and featuresDocumentation & ComplianceDevelop and maintain deployment documentation, manuals, and post-installation reportsEnsure systems comply with safety regulations and airspace requirements (DGCA, FAA, etc.)Training & SupportDeliver training sessions to customer teams and internal stakeholdersSupport first-line defect rectification and empower users to maintain operational continuityQualificationsB.Tech in Electrical, Communication, Aerospace, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Science Engineering4–5 years of experience in Field Service, including on-site installations, inspections, and system integrations.Proficiency in Troubleshooting and identifying technical issues with hardware and software systems.Experience in providing Technical Support, including diagnosing and resolving complex system problems.Knowledge and practice in Preventive Maintenance to ensure system reliability and longevity.Excellent Customer Service skills with a commitment to ensuring client satisfaction and managing customer interactions effectively.Analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to operate independently in a remote setting.Willingness to travel extensively, including to remote and challenging environments
