We drive entrepreneurship through incubation, acceleration, and market access, supporting 3000+ start-ups through a network of mentors, corporates, and investors.Role SummaryThe Assistant Manager – Strategic Finance will work closely with the finance leadership team to drive financial analytics, evaluate growth opportunities, and support the execution of key initiatives across the organization. The role will focus on identifying and assessing new business opportunities, developing investment cases, and accelerating the implementation of high-impact projects. The position requires a strong combination of analytical capability, strategic thinking, and execution skills to translate financial insights into actionable business decisions. This is a high-visibility role that involves working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to support organizational growth initiatives and strengthen overall financial and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Finance & Decision SupportDevelop financial models, business cases, and analytical frameworks to support data-driven decision-making.Conduct deep-dive analysis on business performance, cost structures, and revenue drivers to identify improvement opportunities.Translate financial and operational data into actionable insights for leadership.Support evaluation of key strategic decisions including investments, partnerships, and growth initiatives.Financial Planning & AnalyticsAnalyze financial and operational data to generate insights that improve performance.Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to track key financial and operational metrics.Conduct variance analysis to understand performance against budgets, forecasts, and targets.Opportunity Evaluation & New Business InitiativesIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities, market expansion ideas, and strategic partnerships.Conduct market, financial, and feasibility analysis to assess potential growth initiatives.Support piloting and scaling of new business verticals or initiatives.Develop structured investment cases and strategic proposals for leadership review.Strategic Projects & ExecutionSupport execution of key organizational initiatives and strategic projects.Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive progress on initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.Track project milestones, identify potential risks or bottlenecks, and help accelerate implementation.Build structured frameworks and processes for effective project execution.Stakeholder CollaborationPartner with internal teams across operations, business, and strategy functions to support financial and commercial evaluation of initiatives.Coordinate with external stakeholders including partners, advisors, and consultants as part of strategic initiatives.Facilitate data-driven discussions that align business priorities with financial outcomes.Management Reporting & Leadership SupportPrepare high-quality presentations, dashboards, and analytical reports for leadership reviews.Provide structured insights on financial performance, strategic initiatives, and emerging opportunities.Support preparation of materials for internal leadership discussions and key decision forums.Qualifications & ExperienceCA / MBA (Finance) from a premier institution (IIMs, ISB, or global equivalents preferred).3–6 years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Consulting, or Investment Banking.Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with the ability to structure complex business problems.Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; experience with BI tools is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work effectively in cross-functional environments.Key CompetenciesStrategic thinking and opportunity evaluationStrong analytical and financial modelling capabilityStructured problem solving and business acumenProject execution and stakeholder managementClear communication and presentation skills
