Job Description

Position Overview The HR Manager LSPedia India will be responsible for building and managing the full HR function for the India subsidiary. This includes recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll, performance management, employee relations, engagement, and policy implementation. The role will be both strategic and hands-on, ensuring alignment with LSPedia's global culture while complying with Indian employment laws and best practices.Key Responsibilities 1. HR Strategy and Governance Partner with global leadership to establish HR policies, frameworks, and processes for LSPedia India.Develop an annual HR operating plan covering hiring, compensation, training, and engagement.Maintain alignment with LSPedias global HR standards and core values. Support legal and statutory compliance under Companies Act, Shops & Establishment, PF, ESI, and Gratuity Acts.2. Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning Define hiring needs in collaboration with department heads (Product, Services, Support, Finance).Manage end-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening, interviews, and offer management.Build strong partnerships with recruitment agencies and job portals. Create a structured onboarding and induction program ensuring a seamless new hire experience.3. Payroll and Compensation Management Coordinate monthly payroll processing with finance and third-party vendors.Ensure accurate salary structure design including fixed, variable, and statutory componentsAdminister statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, PT, Gratuity) and filings.Manage annual compensation review cycles and bonus programs. 4. Performance and Development Implement a transparent and measurable Performance Management System (PMS) aligned with LSPedias OKRs and EOS frameworkSupport managers in setting KPIs and conducting quarterly reviews Identify training needs and coordinate internal/external learning programs.Support career progression, competency mapping, and succession planning. 5. Employee Engagement and Culture Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and innovation. Design and execute engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and wellness activities.Handle employee relations, grievances, and conflict resolution with fairness and confidentiality.Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends for continuous improvement. 6. HR Operations and Administration Maintain employee records, contracts, and personal files in compliance with data protection standards.Manage HR systems (HRMS, attendance, leave, and performance tools).Oversee background verification and maintain confidentiality protocolsSupport visa, travel, and overseas assignment coordination for employees working with LSPedia USA.7. Compliance and AuditEnsure HR policies comply with Indian labor laws and LSPedias global standards.Partner with legal and compliance teams for internal audits and HR documentation reviews.Manage HR vendor contracts (payroll, benefits, insurance, etc.) with periodic reviews.Prepare reports and metrics for leadership (headcount, attrition, cost analysis, hiring pipeline).Qualifications and ExperienceMasters degree in Human Resource Management, MBA (HR), or equivalent.812 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Experience working with multinational or SaaS/IT product companies preferred.Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, payroll processes, and statutory compliance.Proven record of setting up HR operations or scaling teams in a growing organization.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment. Preferred Skills Experience with HRMS platforms such as Keka, ADP, or Zoho People.Knowledge of HR analytics and dashboarding. Exposure to ISO 27001, ISO 9001, or related HR audit frameworks. Strong presentation and reporting abilities. Empathy, discretion, and high emotional intelligence. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Average time-to-hire ≤ 45 daysEmployee onboarding completion within 30 daysAttrition rate ≤ 10% (annualized)100% compliance with statutory filings and documentation.≥ 90% employee satisfaction in internal HR survey. Why Join LSPediaWork with global leaders in supply chain transparency and serialization technology.Be part of a new India entity with opportunities to shape its culture and growth.Competitive compensation, health insurance, and learning opportunities. Collaborative, inclusive, and performance-driven environment.
