With a clear vision and category-focused strategies, NIBE Limited strives to excel as a globally recognized organization.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Quality to lead and oversee the quality function for our small arms product portfolio. The role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in defense or small arms product quality, who can ensure compliance with stringent industry standards, drive continuous improvement, and champion a culture of excellence across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyHead the Quality Department for the small arms product portfolio.Define and implement quality strategies aligned with organizational goals.Lead cross-functional quality initiatives to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.Quality Assurance & ComplianceEstablish and maintain quality systems in compliance with defense industry standards and regulatory requirements.Oversee product qualification, testing, and certification processes.Ensure adherence to ISO, MIL, and other relevant defense quality standards.Operational ExcellenceDrive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.Implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).Monitor supplier quality and manage audits to ensure supply chain compliance.Team DevelopmentMentor and develop quality engineers and specialists.Build a high-performing team capable of meeting evolving defense industry demands.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and program management teams to integrate quality into all phases of product development.Act as the primary quality representative for customer and regulatory audits.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (Master’s preferred).10+ years of experience in quality management, with significant exposure to small arms or defense product quality.Strong knowledge of defense industry standards, certifications, and compliance frameworks.Proven leadership experience in managing quality teams and systems.Expertise in quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, SPC, Six Sigma, Lean).Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Preferred ExperienceDirect experience in small arms manufacturing or defense product lifecycle management.Familiarity with military specifications and defense procurement processes.Hands-on experience with audits, certifications, and customer quality assurance programs.
