Our high level of professionalism and commitment drives continuous research to improve efficiency and sustainability, always in strict compliance with the law and aligned with the highest ethical standards.ROLE SUMMARYProfessionals with Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant engineering experience in the industry sectors of Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical and having good knowledge with experience in FEED and Detail Engineering within Power and Oil and Gas Projects. Capable to review and develop technical specifications, data sheets and technical bid evaluation of electrical equipment and materials (transformers, switchgears, MCC, UPS, EDG, cables, lighting & bulk). Strong skills in single line drawings and schematics. Expertise in lighting, earthing and lightning calculations. Good knowledge in Hazardous area classification. Good knowledge of International Codes & Standards like IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, NACE, ASME, ANSI, IP, API, ASTM, ISO, Shell DEP.Main responsibilitiesResponsible for the design of main electrical equipment and materials.Prepare and review technical specifications and data sheetsPrepare electrical equipment and material sizing calculations.prepare Hazardous Area Classification with Designer support (only 2D drawings), Panel schedules (Power and Lighting), Interconnection and Wiring Diagrams, Control SchematicsPrepare MTO/BOM, Lighting Calculations, Cable Tray and Trench sizing CalculationsRequisition for Inquiry and Purchase of Electrical Equipment’s (TRANSFORMERS, SWITCHGEARS, GENERATORS, BUS DUCTS, UPS, CAPACITORS, CATHODIC PROTECTION) and Bulk Materials(Cables, Trays, Lighting and Grounding materials)Technical Bid Evaluation of Offers for Electrical Equipment’s and Bulk Materials & TB Tabulation preparation.Interact and collaborate with rest of technical disciplines involved.Ability to deal with change and demostrate flexibility as requiredDemostrate awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental issuedManage engineering vendors dataReport engineering status and progress.Required profile and experienceDesigning for electrical equipment and materials10 to 15 year or more experience working in the electrical discipline in a engineering companyEffective communication skillsUnderstanding of other disciplinesAble to complete tasks in accordance with project requirementsAble to discuss routine technical problems and communicate effectively with immediateSupervisor and other project personnelExcellent English language skills - listening, speaking, reading and writingKnowledge of electrical calculation software (ETAP, SKM, Digisilent, Dialux)Experience as electrical site engineerWhat we offerHealth and well-being programs (physical and emotional)Health insurance discounts and access to WellhubStudy grants, continuous training, and professional developmentWorkplace adaptation for individuals with a Disability Certificate ≥ 33%Diversity and equalityAt Técnicas Reunidas, we have a strong commitment to equal opportunities for women and men, as well as to diversity.
