By combining software, AI, and legal expertise, we are redefining how intellectual property services are delivered worldwide.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Strategic Legal Engineer (AI-First) to join our team in Nagpur.This is a full-time, in-office role focused on building, optimizing, and scaling legal operations using engineering thinking and AI-driven systems.You will not function as a traditional legal assistant.Instead, you will operate as a systems builder—designing workflows, integrating AI into daily operations, and improving how legal work is executed across a global organization.Position OverviewTrademarkia is looking for an exceptionally intelligent, engineering-minded operator to support and amplify the productivity of highly paid U.S.-based attorneys and professionals.This role is for someone who:Thinks in systems, not tasksApproaches problems with engineering rigor and structured reasoningUses AI as a core tool, not a noveltyCan redesign workflows for speed, scale, and reliabilityYou will not simply execute processes.You will engineer better ones.This is a high-responsibility, high-visibility role with direct impact on operational efficiency and revenue performance.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) – Computer Science, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fieldsStrong foundation in systems thinking, process design, and structured problem-solvingDemonstrated ability to optimize workflows and improve operational efficiencyExcellent analytical skills with the ability to break down complex processes into scalable solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environmentExperience with AI tools, automation, or workflow systems is highly preferredExposure to legal operations or structured document environments is a plus (not required)Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement AI-enabled workflows to improve the productivity of U.S.-based attorneysAnalyze existing operations and identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and failure pointsBuild scalable systems and SOPs for repeatable, high-quality executionDraft, structure, and optimize legal and business communications using AI toolsCreate process maps, decision trees, and operational frameworksManage cross-functional workflows with precision and accountabilityPrepare structured reports, summaries, and executive-ready outputsImprove internal communication systems and client experience flowsContinuously test, iterate, and refine workflows for performance gainsProactively identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and cost efficiencyWhat We Are Looking ForWe are not prioritizing years of experience.We are prioritizing intelligence, engineering mindset, and execution ability.The ideal candidate:Thinks like an engineer, not an administratorIs highly organized and detail-orientedUses AI tools daily and effectivelyLearns systems quickly and improves them independentlyIs proactive and takes ownership of outcomesCan operate in a fast-moving, global environmentIs comfortable working with senior professionals and high expectationsHas strong reasoning ability and structured thinkingA law background is not required.
