Job Type: Contract (2 Months) Work Schedule: 20 Hours per Week Location: Remote, India Role Overview This role will be responsible for building and operating the company’s data-driven growth initiatives across ecommerce and retail channels. The ideal candidate will integrate and analyze data from multiple systems, identify revenue opportunities, and run targeted customer marketing initiatives such as lifecycle email campaigns and customer segmentation programs. This is a highly hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working directly with data, building dashboards, and executing marketing initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities 1. Customer Data & Analytics Build a unified understanding of customer behavior across retail and ecommerce. Analyze: Customer lifetime value Repeat purchase patterns Product affinities Customer segments Geographic buying patterns Use insights to drive targeted marketing initiatives. 2. CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Design and manage lifecycle marketing initiatives such as: Welcome email series Post-purchase engagement Abandoned cart recovery Repeat purchase campaigns VIP customer programs Promotional campaigns Measure campaign performance and optimize based on results. 3. Marketing Performance Analytics Track and analyze marketing performance across channels such as: Email campaigns Paid marketing campaigns Promotions Ecommerce conversion performance Develop insights that improve marketing ROI. 4. Retail Store Intelligence Analyze performance across retail locations including: Sales trends by locationProduct performance by store Promotion effectiveness Customer buying patterns Provide insights to support better merchandising and store operations. 5. Data Infrastructure & Reporting Integrate data from multiple sources including: POS systems Ecommerce platform Marketing tools Inventory systems Build dashboards and reporting systems for leadership using tools such as: Power BI Tableau Looker Google Data Studio Qualifications Experience 4–8 years experience in growth analytics, ecommerce analytics, marketing analytics, or retail analytics Experience working with customer and transaction data Experience running CRM or lifecycle marketing campaigns Technical Skills Strong experience with: SQL Advanced Excel / Google Sheets Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) Nice to have: Python Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify Experience with marketing automation tools Business Skills Ability to: Translate data into actionable insights Identify revenue growth opportunities Work with cross-functional stakeholders Communicate insights clearly Success Metrics Success in this role will be measured by: Increase in repeat purchase rate Growth in customer lifetime value Improved marketing campaign performance Improved visibility into store and ecommerce performance Adoption of data-driven decision making across the company Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is someone who: Is comfortable working with messy data Enjoys both analysis and execution Understands customer behavior in retail and ecommerce Can independently identify and implement growth opportunities
