In this critical role, you will be the custodian of utility technology, driving performance improvements, energy optimization, and operational excellence across our complex.If you have deep expertise in steam-power balance and a proven track record in the Ammonia or Petrochemical sectors, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Energy & Steam Optimization: Act as the subject matter expert for Steam and Energy balance; identify and implement strategies to reduce specific energy consumption across the plant.Performance Improvement: Lead the Center of Excellence (COE) and Technical Services initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of utility operations.Project & Commissioning Leadership: Spearhead utility-related CAPEX projects from design through to successful plant commissioning.Heavy Utility Management: Oversee the technical performance and troubleshooting of Boilers, Gas Turbine Generators (GTG), and associated power generation equipment.Water Treatment Oversight: Manage and optimize complex water systems, including DM Plants, Boiler Feed Water (BFW) systems, ETP, UFRO, and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) units.Safety Leadership: Drive a strong safety culture by strictly adhering to Process Safety Management (PSM) guidelines and conducting continuous risk assessments.What We Are Looking For:Industry Experience: Mandatory background in Ammonia, Fertilizer, or heavy Petrochemical continuous process plants.Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on and strategic experience in Boiler & Turbine operations, Steam Power Balance, and advanced Water Treatment systems.Project Exposure: Previous experience handling Technical Services, CAPEX, and plant commissioning is highly preferred.Safety First: Deep understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) within highly hazardous and pressurized environments.Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).Core Competencies & Keywords: Ammonia Process Technology | Technical Services Utilities | Utility Head | Boiler & GTG Operations | Steam Power Balance | DM Plant / BFW System | ETP / UFRO / ZLD | Process Safety Management (PSM) | Plant Commissioning
