Job Title: HR Operations Executive / Specialist – HRIS & AutomationLocation: Bangalore Industry: IT Services / Digital Engineering Experience: 5–8 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days Reporting To: Director – Human ResourcesRole OverviewThe HR Operations Executive – HRIS & Automation is responsible for managing and optimizing day-to-day HR operations through HR systems, automation, and structured digital processes. This role ensures seamless employee lifecycle management, background verification, benefits administration, compliance, and effective coordination with payroll, finance, and external vendors.The position plays a critical role in supporting and configuring the HRIS (Darwinbox), driving process efficiency through automation, and enabling a scalable, data-driven, and technology-enabled HR operations environment.Key Responsibilities1. HRIS (Darwinbox) Operations & ConfigurationAct as the primary support SPOC for Darwinbox for day-to-day operations and issue resolution.Perform basic system configurations, including:Workflow updates (approvals, notifications)Master data managementPolicy configuration (leave, attendance, eligibility rules)User access control and role-based permissionsCoordinate with Darwinbox support/vendor for issue resolution, enhancements, and UAT testing.Ensure data accuracy and support digitization across HR modules (employee lifecycle, attendance, leave, documentation, etc.).2. Payroll & Compensation SupportManage consultant salary data and validate timesheets/invoices before sharing with Finance.Collate and validate monthly shift allowance data for payroll processing.Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and exception handling.3. Employee & Ex-Employee SupportHandle employment verification requests for ex-employees.Manage HR helpdesk tickets and ensure resolution within defined SLAs.4. HR Documentation & Letter ManagementPrepare and issue HR-related documents, including:Employment lettersVisa and Green Card lettersImmigration lettersForm 60NOC letters5. Automation & AI-Driven Process EnablementLeverage AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to:Document HR processes and SOPsAutomate repetitive HR operations (data validation, reporting, trackers)Improve response quality and turnaround time for HR queriesIdentify and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability.Standardize workflows, templates, and SOPs using digital tools.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of HR Operations and employee lifecycle processesHands-on experience with Darwinbox HRMS (configuration and operations)Proficiency in MS Excel and SharePoint (data reconciliation, reporting, trackers)Experience leveraging AI tools for process improvement and automationHigh attention to detail and strong documentation skillsExcellent stakeholder management and coordination abilitiesProcess-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvementPreferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience in HR Operations and HRIS within IT or technology-driven organizations
