You will be responsible for driving alignment through the innovative planning process, elevating the People Program Management capability, and supporting key Global People initiatives throughout the year. In addition to specific planning accountabilities, there will be opportunities to collaborate closely with the in-market Global People Strategy & planning team on ad-hoc projects to support the broader organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in project and portfolio management.The candidate is expected to reside in India.Responsibilities:In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:Cross Team Collaboration & Partnerships:Serves as “go-to” resource and support for market on all things related to the People planning processCoordinate with the GP Strategy & Planning team to support the execution of long-term GP strategies, goals, and plans and ensure alignment with overall Global People Segment business objectivesCollaborates with Product Teams and GP Strategy & Planning team to build timelines for the entire People Portfolio including milestones, deadlines, and launchesProgram Management:Accountable for effective coordination and on-time delivery of HR PMO support activitiesAssist in the orchestration and sequencing of key GP projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and within established timelines, while coordinating resources, tracking progress, and escalating challengesPrepare periodic reports for the GP Strategy & Planning team to track strategic goal accomplishments and initiative progressQualifications:Create presentation materials & data management artifacts required for the effective deployment and phasing of GP initiativeAssist in the crafting of strategic communication related to GP policies, initiatives, and organizational changesManages schedules and deadlines for Global People initiativesSupports the execution of function-wide meetings (e.g. Project Acceleration Meetings and functional webcasts), developing key inputs and outputs for these eventsPreferred Qualifications:Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Culture, or related field; advanced degree preferredProven experience in roles responsible for people experience or project managementExperience operating in large, multi-national corporations in a highly matrixed, complex structureExperience working across many countries and culturesUnderstands the needs and challenges of global leadersWork a schedule with strong overlap to U.S. business hours (e.g., 2:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. IST) to ensure real time collaboration with North America–based partnersPeople Experience Expertise & SkillsTechnical knowledge in areas of people experience, project management, and HR processesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-analysis skillsAbility to write well and communicate effectively across all layers of the organizationKnowledge of HR compliance and data privacy regulationsStrong business acumenOpen to learning new systems and processesExceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude and a willingness to learn; self-starterStrong ability to influence others; able to build and drive a strong business case for people as a growth driverContinuous improvement and growth mindset
