ThreatXIntel is committed to enabling business growth through secure, reliable, and high-quality technology solutions.Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Freelance Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Citrix, VMware virtualization, data-centric architecture, load balancing, and enterprise networking.The consultant will be responsible for supporting and optimizing enterprise infrastructure environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability across virtualized and network-based systems.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience managing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), enterprise virtualization platforms, load balancers, and network infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesCitrix InfrastructureDesign, deploy, and manage Citrix environments (CVAD / Virtual Apps & Desktops)Support VDI and application virtualization environmentsMonitor performance and troubleshoot Citrix infrastructure issuesVMware VirtualizationManage and support VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter environmentsHandle VM provisioning, optimization, and resource allocationMaintain high availability and disaster recovery configurationsData-Centric ArchitectureSupport infrastructure that powers data-driven enterprise applicationsOptimize storage, compute, and network performance for data workloadsLoad Balancers & NetworkingConfigure and manage enterprise load balancers (F5, Citrix ADC, or similar)Support networking components including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewallsEnsure high availability and failover architectureInfrastructure OperationsTroubleshoot infrastructure issues across virtualization and networking layersImplement performance tuning and infrastructure optimizationCollaborate with application and platform teamsRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Citrix (CVAD / VDI / Citrix ADC)Experience managing VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenterKnowledge of data-centric or data platform infrastructure architecturesExperience with enterprise load balancers (F5, Citrix ADC, Nginx, HAProxy, etc.)Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, firewalls)Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise infrastructure environments
